For this Restoration Hardware staple, designer Luay Al-Rawi paired antiqued elm with distressed cast metal to achieve a "form meets function" industrial appeal. A welded, riveted solid steel frame stands on functioning casters, while nicks and imperfections speak of the wood's age and provenance. This statement piece is meticulously handcrafted with antique reclaimed elm that has been hand-selected, planed, sanded and unfinished, with the patina of reclaimed wood.
