This is an amazing reproduction of the famous Cluny museum the grapes harvest tapestry. This is a large tapestry with dimensions of 53.5”x34”. The scene depicts the bustle of harvest time, exemplifying grape gathering and the wine press. It shows the two methods of pressing used in medieval times: pressing grapes with the feet, and pressing with the screw, to extract the juice, and then collected in wooden barrels. It’s 80% cotton and 20% Viscose/Rayon. It would be a great show piece at your living room, dining room or anywhere in your house. Made by Goblys in France. Smaller ones selling at much higher price in Amazon.
