Description

This is a set of two plates produced by Indiana Glass to commemorate the American Bicentennial in 1976, the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States. One plate shows Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA surrounded by trees and clouds.  The other plate depicts a fife and drum trio in relief with the title "Spirit of 76". The plates are made of  blue carnival glass, which shows a spectacular rainbow of iridescent colors when held up to the light. This pair of plates will make a stunning addition to your collections.  The set consists of: (2) Bicentennial commemorative plates from Indian Glass that measure 8" in diameter The plates are in very good vintage shape, with no chips or cracks, and would make a perfect birthday, wedding, or anniversary gift.
