Metal Gear Arcade is an arcade game developed by Kojima Productions and released on December 20, 2010 exclusively in Japan. It is a reworked version of Metal Gear Online, featuring head controls and stereoscopic 3D rendering. Not released outside of Japan. Metal Gear Arcade is a light gun-FPS. Much of Metal Gear Arcade is identical to Metal Gear Online with many of the maps and online play modes returning from that game. The single player modes, however, are unique to the arcade version of the game. The System is able to link multiple units together if you can find more cabinets. The cabinet itself comes complete with microphone, chair, stereoscopic 3D display, surround sound and the most complex light gun I have ever seen. Its buttons mimic the triggers of a variety of different weapons while the thumb stick on the front handle controls movement. Camera control, on the other hand, is linked to a tilt sensor attached to the side of a pair of 3D goggles--turning your head into the second thumbstick.
