It was made in South Korea, initially by Samick in 1995 and later by Cort in 1996. The GR220 features a carved maple top on an alder body mated with a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of direct mounted Ibanez P90 soapbar single coil pickups and a Tune-o-matic style Full Tune bridge with tailpiece. The GR220 was discontinued along with the entire Ghostrider line after 1996. Soft case included.
