I purchased this mower from Home Depot 15 years ago. It has always been a "one-pull" mower. I pulled it out of the backyard today after months of sitting in the weeds and put gas in it and started, first pull, still. NOT self-propelled. I have all electric lawn equipment now. I also have a two-stroke Poulan Pro blower, Green Works electric chainsaw, cheap electric weed eater, and an electric edger.
