This model was made 1980-82 and sold for $800 new. It features 120 watts per channel and a Quartz Lock tunning system with both a analog and digital display as well as LED power meters. Other features include, A/B speaker switching, subsonic and high filters, loudness control, -20 muting, FM muting,room for 2 tape decks with dubbing, 2phono inputs, aux input ,mic input with control. All the things one needs without being cluttered with the things you never use. it is a very sharp loooking unit. the sound is very clean and focused with good detail and just a touch of warmth. This is one of the few big receivers that can deliver huge current into low impedence loads. and has lots of dynamic headroomi. Stereo Review tested one of these in 1980 170 w/ch into 8 ohms at clipping 240 w/ch into 4 ohms at clipping 270 w/ch into 2 ohms at clipping around 250 w/ch dynamic output into 8 ohms which is around 3.3db of headroom.
