Description

1987 specialized street stomper in very good condition, especially for being almost 35 yrs old! Nostalgia in yo face! I used to rip one of these around the neighborhood wearing a plastic Ninja Turtles mask, not going home until the street lights turned on! Bike is perfect for the collector and/or a restoration project. I’ve seen completely restored ones selling online for over 1K. The street stomper was only made for two years and was marketed as the urban little brother to the more famous Stump Jumper. Was commonly referred to as “The Burrito Slayer” and was designed to slay urban environments as the ultimate delivery/urban commuter bike and didn’t disappoint! Nowadays it’s a rare find to snag one in working order, especially with good factory paint still attached! Everything on this bike is factory original minus the seat, which I am replacing with a OEM brand today. Some scuffing on a small side decal but pretty good shape other. Gorgeous bike. Shifters and brakes work great and bike is in great working order all around. If I had the time I know I could invest $75 in to this bike and re-sell for at least $500$600.
