Description

This is a gold painted 1984 plaster reproduction of the Greco-Roman bust titled, "Head of a Victorious Athlete" or "The De Benevent Head," made by Austin Prod Inc, and is in excellent vintage condition. The bust is 17" tall and very well modeled and executed with very fine detailing as expected from Austin Productions. The piece is marked "Austin Prod INC 1984." This excellent plaster bust is modeled after the Greco-Roman original currently on display in the Lourve Museum in Paris, France.
