I read the bad reviews, but I still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, Chris the salesman that helped us was more concerned about talking about himself than trying on giving us a good deal. Please stay away from this dealership and save your valuable time. Please inform yourself do some research on how dealerships work before stepping into a dealership. Dealerships are only looking for clients that don't do any kind of research so they can take advantage of them. Just be aware, and trust your instinct just like we did, We walked way.

My final offer was $14,500 not $13,000 like you mention on your post. I told Chris that I could leave my phone number just in case you guys changed your mind, his response was NO it's ok the car will sell, so we left. I really wanted to do business with you guys so I called back on Monday and Junior answered the phone I specify that I would like to speak to the sales manager and he transferred me to Chris, why Chris?? I have nothing against Chris but if I specify I would like to speak to the sales manager is because I would like to speak to the sales manager. So Chris told me the sales manager was busy and he will give a call back when he had a chance, I'm still waiting for his call. I knew he was not going to call me because no one asked for my phone number. At the moment I moved on I bought my car at a dealership closer to home for a really good deal. They were willing to negotiate with us and gave us a $4,000 discount not just $300 like the discount you guys offered us, but thanks for your time.

This place should be called Auto RipOff. You have to purchase $2,000 worth of LoJack and other security crap if you want to buy a vehicle. There was a customer ranting and raving when we were in there and we just kind of ignored him. Apparently, he drove 5 hours for a certain vehicle and didn't want to pay the garbage fees. So now we are sitting with the salesman, and the final numbers get put on the desk. What? This is $2,000 more than quoted. Let's remove the $2,000 of crap we don't want or need. We aren't from the L.A. area. Our vehicle is parked in a garage and doesn't spend a lot of time unsupervised. We don't want or need LoJack or the other things. Just remove those fees and we'll pay the asking price because they wouldn't budge one dime on the price. No can do according to the salesman. We drove 3 hours for this specific Jeep. Nope! We didn't rant or rave. I asked 2 or 3 more times. Nope! So, we left... And we saw Premier Jeep (Dodge, Chrysler and Ram, too) on the way to the freeway. We ended up with a MUCH better Jeep at a MUCH better deal. If you plan on getting any kind of fair deal, stop at Premier first. Here is a picture of the Jeep we bought at Premier Jeep...

I’m a new delivery driver who was counting on a work van purchased from Auto Republic to start earning income and supporting my family. My boss handled the entire transaction—payment was made, paperwork signed, and the keys were handed over. No one ever mentioned that anything else was needed.

Then we found out they had made a paperwork error, and now the title is being withheld. I legally can’t drive the van, which means I can’t work. I’m losing hours, falling behind on bills, and stuck waiting—all because of their mistake.

Instead of owning it, Paul—who handled the sale—tried to make my boss pay $27 to fix the issue. When my boss rightly said they should cover their own mistake (or maybe their buddy Fernando, who didn’t follow basic instructions), Paul hung up on him. Then he told us it would take another week to resolve and not to call back. No apology. No accountability. Just rudeness, silence, and stalling.

They were quick to take our money, but slow to take responsibility. And their carelessness is now threatening my job, my income, and my ability to support my family. This isn’t just bad service its truly unacceptable embarrassing and effecting more than one person.

Auto Republic isn’t the first used car dealership that negotiates sloppily.  You just have to expect a low end car lot like this to misrepresent prices and sneak in a bunch of fees.

But if that’s the game you play,  you need sales reps that are decent.  If there is no follow up, if i have to hound you for basic information on the car, what are you even doing.

I can’t imagine anyone having a good experience with this business.

I drove over 2 hours in traffic to Auto Republic Fullerton to buy a Toyota Camry that I had discussed in detail with Chris, the salesman. He had promised to remove or discount the overpriced dealer add-ons like LoJack and paint protection (over $2,000 for things I didn’t want or need). That didn’t happen.

When we arrived, Chris wasn’t ready, and the car wasn’t even pulled up like he said it would be. During the test drive, he spent more time talking about his FBI mom and attorney dad than the actual car. But the real issue came afterward.

Back at the dealership, he made disrespectful comments toward my wife, calling her “hard to handle” and criticizing her “attitude” — just for asking fair questions about pricing. He then threw a form in front of her without even reviewing numbers or discussing the breakdown.

When we pushed back on the surprise fees, Chris became rude, defensive, and aggressive, accusing my wife of being “combative.” We were ready to buy that day, but his behavior made it impossible.

Totally unprofessional. We left feeling disrespected and frustrated. If you're car shopping here, avoid Chris at all costs. This was hands down the worst dealership experience we’ve ever had.
