Handmade Snake Cage

The snake cage is awesome I hand built it carved it cut it sanded it the only thing I had left to do is insert the plexiglass into the wood I even made it so there's a cave for the snake to go into and possibly even an upper shelf to have a two tier or three tier aquarium all-in-one it is 20 in high in the front 24 in the back and then it is 40 in wide just under 4 ft by 2 ft long facing towards you so it's a good size aquarium and there is two different sides so there's one side that's made for the desert and then one side that's made for like tropical there's an inset with plexiglass to be able to put moss and water and trees and plants so then that way you can keep a wet environment all on one side even though it's in a wood cage all contained within the plexiglass bottom it even has a glass insert on the very bottom for heating mat a lot of time and energy went into making this and designing it and to figure out exactly the best way to make it even on the top it has two separate doors that open one for each side everything is measured exactly as it needs to be I have OCD so I made sure everything was perfect and all the edges are the same and you know what I mean the only thing like I said needs to be done is just you need to insert the plexiglass glue it and then just get a corner braces very small ones to put on the inside on all four corners to hold all the cage completely together I made it this way so that way you could take it apart if you ever had to move it but yet you can still put it together and it's perfectly stable and strong as any other aquarium would be so like I said a lot of energy went into making sure it is what needs to be it also has a hole in the top for a pipe to go along the back wall so then that way you can drop your mice through the pipe down into the bottom cave area so then that way your snake always has the mice in one area in the cave so that's the feeding area that way your hands are never mistaken for food as well the mice can't get out of the cave area because of the ledge that the snake crawls into there's no way for the mice to get out so they can just stay there until they're eating basically and your snake also has a way to escape from them if you wanted to keep the mice in the aquarium I also have insets on the top for the light and the heating light as well so then that way it actually sits into the wood and like I said there's everything's been rounded on the corners and inset with all the plexiglass and pre-cut literally all you have to do is just put it together I was going to do it however I ended up having to move recently that's why I'm selling everything and I have no longer a use for my snake or its cage and I just spent like $400 on materials to build this cage not to mention three weeks worth of work anyhow I will let the whole cage go for like 50 bucks it's really high quality type of wood that is safe for all reptiles or animals you can put anything in the aquarium unless it needs to hold water right it's not waterproof it's not solid but it can hold any other creature it is not airtight but solid there's no way for anything to escape in any side or Edge I guess you could say you could also put a thin layer of silicone all the way around the edges once you screw it all back together just to add a little layer of extra security in case you have little insects that are going to be going into the aquarium again the whole purpose was to be able to take it apart fully when I needed to to be able to move it if ever needed so if you have a better offer or a different offer please let me know I would like to sell it I don't want to just trash it and I'm not just going to give it away so I will definitely trash it before I give it away cuz otherwise people always just try to get stuff for free and use people right and that's not right so want to be clear I will throw it away before I give it away however I would like to sell it so if you are interested please give me your best offer and then we will take it from there if not then I will destroy it myself it's just sad to see $400 go to waste you could also use the aquarium for any other type of small animals like bunnies or gerbils or mice rats anything basically that doesn't need to live in water and I use nothing but good quality materials even the plexiglasses the higher kind the better kind I can't remember the name of it but basically scratch resistant pretty much shatterproof it's really high quality and then also it's a quarter inch thick and the rest of materials like I said it's another really kind of good wood I can't remember the name off the top of my head but it is safe for Animals of any kind which is important when you're building your own aquarium so just please know that there's probably over 60 hours worth of work that has gone into this Aquarium and with all the other materials it is well worth several hundred dollars but I'm not asking that.
