Black Bart II fireplace insert (wood burning)

This is a heavy duty ( air tight ) wood burning fireplace insert. Converts a regular fireplace into a super efficient heat source. Open fires allow heat to be sucked out of the house and are not an efficient way to provide heat to a home. This insert will slow the burn, stop the release of heat out the chimney and direct heat from within the insert out into the home. This unit has a fan that forces heat into house. This one is basically like new. Rarely used and still in 100% condition. Still has original paint even on the back of unit. No rust. This one will last several lifetimes. It comes with a a piece to direct smoke up a few extra feet into the chimney. This is a Pre EPA regulated unit. This means it was built back when they were at the best of there time. No catalytic converters or additional parts that require cleaning or maintenance. This one is a simple fictional money saver. These are getting hard to find, especially in excellent condition like this one. I'd love to see it go to a good home, but it would also make a great smoker fire box to use on a big BBQ pit. This unit is built with plate steel and can be welded on. It is not a cast iron unit. Plate steel is much better and durable than cast iron.
