Description
This is a great vehicle with room to go either way: work/cargo van, or build it into a camper. Runs great, comfortable, surprisingly easy to drive and handle. This van belonged to a dear friend who passed away suddenly. I’m selling it to help cover debts left in the estate. Since it didn’t belong to me, I don’t know everything about its history, but I’ll do my best to provide as much information as possible. I’ve noted some issues/minor cosmetic damage below, and priced this vehicle accordingly. I have a feeling the buyer will be a handiperson with big dreams for this vehicle so I didn’t want to change too much about it. The owner wanted to build this van into a camper, though it was never completed. The interior is insulated and wood-paneled and there’s a simple sleeping platform in the back. The platform could be easily removed if using as a work vehicle. I’ve driven it about 500 miles and have had no mechanical issues. There are no side windows. Notes based on vehicle report (see last photo) + what I know about maintenance/care: • Only two owners. • No accidents or open recalls. • Clean title in hand. • Tires look good. From records I’ve found, looks like 2 new tires were purchased 2 years ago (about 25k miles ago) and 2 more tires replaced a little over a year ago (about 5k miles ago), rotated each time. • I had the cab professionally detailed, looks clean, smells nice. Vacuumed and scrubbed the cargo area. • Vehicle has never been smoked in. • Includes a full-sized spare tire + tire chains. • Just had the oil changed today. Some damaged/goofy things I’ll point out, for the sake of transparency: • The sliding door does not lock. There are after-market locks you can add to this sort of door for $100-$200, but I figured I’d leave it up to the new owner to fix how they prefer. • Small dent in the rear door right, and a nickel-sized bit of cracked paint at the rear door left. I think someone broke in that way at some point. The rear doors close and lock securely, though—the damage is just cosmetic. Serious inquiries only.
