I wish that I could give a negative star!! I trusted this dealership to repair my vehicle and,  was completely deceived multiple times by the service manager Nick!! My car over heated on 8/11 in Martinez on Alhambra Ave.  I noticed a dealership across the street and, walked over to see if I can pay to have coolant put in the car. The service Manager Nick sent his mechanic over to check out my car and, he drove it over to his repair shop. I was told that the thermostat wasn't opening and needed replacing.  I was given a quote from Nick to repair the vehicle.  My car sat for two days without any work being done. I was given the run around numerous times! My car was finally being worked on that Wednesday and, was supposed to be ready for me to pickup.  Then I was told that hoses needed to be replaced so, I can come on Thursday morning.  When I contacted Nick on Thursday he said that he mechanic hadn't had time to test drive the car so, I can come by 3pm. I attempted to go pick my car during a shift change at work and, was told that I can come at 8pm . I asked to see the parts that were replaced upon my arrival and,  was shown a thermostat, no hoses. Nick then informed me that the hoses were the wrong size that he purchased and,  they was the rust out of my old hoses and replaced them . The very next day my car over heated again. I text Nick ,he told me to add water to the reservoir. All of the fluids poured out of the car!!! I sent him a video and,  he stopped replying to my text messages 😒 I had to have my car towed home and, wait til Saturday to reach someone.  I spoke with KC the sales manager and he said he'd reach out to Nick and , have him call me. They wanted me to be responsible for the car being towed back to Martinez.  I refused to pay for a tow and, said they should be responsible.  Nick decided that the repair was small and, sent his mechanic out to my place to replace the hoses on Monday. My car wasn't fixed! I reach back out to find out what the problem was 2hrs later he told me that the parts had to be ordered and, wouldn't arrived til Tuesday.  I expressed how I felt that I was being taken advantage of because I was a woman and,  he took offense and, refused to fix the car. I asked for a refund and,  now I'm having to leave this review to let people know especially women don't take your car here for repairs!

Kind of a kind Rant....I recently drove from Denver to Martinez to see friends and family.  Almost as soon a I got here, my power steering went out and I took my car to Platinum Motors on Alhambra Ave. for the worst auto repair experience of my life.   Not only did they mis-diagnose the issue, they took over three weeks to get the car back to me.   And they lied to me, multiple times,  in the process. That wouldn't be terrible if there hadn't been 3 notifications during that time that I could pick it up the 'next day', 'Later today', 'five o'clock tomorrow' at an identified time. Twice I was on my way to pick it up before learning that it wasn't ready after all. 'We want to do an alignment and provide a courtesy wash.' 'The part didn't actually come in' 'we want to do another alignment', 'well, it actually really isn't done.. we didn't get a part'...  the excuses made little sense and not using them until I'm on my way over, actually there, on their advisement, struck me as some of the most unconscious 'customer service' I've ever seen.

After I finally got to pick it, it drove okay for a couple hundred miles and failed on me while driving back to Denver, through the Sierras, and, yes, it was dangerous and scary.   I got back to Denver and had it fixed properly. I called the owner, Boris (after many unanswered calls from Nick, the service manager.   It took a few calls to reach Boris, but, once i got him on the line, he sounded reasonable and felt, yes, 'they should do something for me about it... we need to make that right'.  Bear in mind that the service order called for, in addition to the power steering repair,  an oil change and they 'wanted to give' a courtesy wash and detail, neither of which was my purpose.  I got the car back and change oil light was on and the interior clearly not cleaned, layer of dust on the dashboard etc. It was a month ago that I finally reached Boris and he promised me we'd work together to my satisfaction, to 'make it right'.  I've been leaving messages for that month since and Boris seems intent to not call me back and make it right a he has yet to return my call.   $1600 and nearly a month to get my car back and it wasn't fixed.   He's clearly not going to make it right so i thought I'd put out the word about my experience.... if you need auto repair, friends don't let friends go to Platinum Motors.  They suck big time.

I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go see the guys at Platinum motors. The staff there is amazing and they go above and beyond for their customers. I can't say enough good things about Boris and his team. This is my Roush stage 3 purchased from them.

Completely blown away by Boris and his team. We were buying a car for commercial use, and had very tight deadlines. Boris went above and beyond to find us exactly the car we need, get it delivered, inspected, new tires installed, and car registered - all within 10 days. Couldn't be happier, and would recommend Platinum Motors to anyone.

platinum Motors is amazing. Boris and his team went above and beyond with the level of service and personal care. On the way to the lot my fathers car started having uses. When we arrived the master mechanic Anatoly quickly diagnosed my dads car and gave us a quote that was over $1,000 less than any other repair shops that I called. Than when it came down to the purchase of my new car I was amazed of the service I received. I couldn't find anything I liked on the lot so Boris asked me what car I want and was able to find me the exact car I wanted and got it delivered to the lot within a couple days. I had no credit history what so ever and I was sure I ether wouldn't get approved or that if I did the interest rate would be outrageous. Boris and his team told me no to worry and found me an amazing rate and got me approved on the spot. When I came to pickup my new car it was fully detailed and he had made sure to put on a new set of tires. I was in and out within hour and couldn't be happier.
