This is a Canon EF 24–70mm f/2.8L USM lens being sold as-is. Optics are clean, zoom and focus rings move smoothly, and glass has no scratches, haze, or fungus. However, the lens shows the “Err 01 – Communication between camera and lens is faulty” message when mounted on a camera. From inspection, this issue is likely due to a damaged or worn flex cable inside the aperture unit — a common problem on this model. The lens still works in video mode and manual focus, but the error can appear intermittently in photo mode.
