I have used this bike rack for 6 months ans has been a great and solid rack. Here is some information from the manufacturer. Thule T1 is a single platform rack that is easy to mount and dismount on the hitch of your car, and it secures your bike quickly without frame contact with its frame-free ratcheting arm. This premium bike rack is strong, safe, and can easily attach to either 1.25" or 2" hitch receiver on your car, and it also includes locks for added security. Once the bike rack is assembled and attached to the hitch, it can be folded up and down, taken on and off easily because of its HitchSwitch lever. Plus, you can now say goodbye to dirty, greasy, or scratched car interiors with this robust bike rack.
