This guitar is fully functional and in great condition and don't come of often for sale because of their quality. It was built by built by Matsumoku. It is wired out of phase in the middle position like many of its Gibson counterparts. After I photographed the guitar I turned around the bridge pickup so the polls now face forward because I like the middle position sound better, although that may be just my imagination..hehe. This comes with a Larrivee hard shell case in very good condition that fits it very well. The 1970s Univox Barney Kessel was a Japanese-made archtop electric guitar featuring a hollow body, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a nut width of 1 9/16 inches. It has a sunburst finish, two humbucker pickups, and two volume and two tone controls, weighing around 7.2 lbs. It was a copy of the original Gibson Barney Kessel model, which had different specifications such as a spruce top and a 17-inch wide body.
