The desk features a sturdy metal base with graceful curved legs, attached wood seat and desk top, and original pencil groove and ink-well hole (see photos). Key features: Solid wood desktop & seat. Metal legs/base typical of early-to-mid 20th century school furniture. Ink-well hole (or groove) in desktop adds vintage authenticity. Ideal for use as a desk, accent piece, homework station, or photo prop. Condition: The piece is structurally sound. The wood shows beautiful wear l, some surface marks/age small imperfections consistent with its vintage age (photos show detail). The metal base has original finish with some wear/rust spots which add to the character. Pick up in Tacoma/University Place area. No holds. Must be able to transport.
