This welder is probably over 75 years old. But it remains in good working condition. The paint on the metal box has been reapplied. The cables appear to be in very good shape for being so old. The must have been replaced at some time. It has 4 metal castor wheels. This thing weighs a ton. It's really heavy. Must be at least 120 lbs. (Exaggerated Estimated Guess). Wires, cables, clamps are in excellent shape. Looks wonderful . Performance is untested. I don't have any rods to test it but the unit hums when I plug it into my dryer outlet. It definitely was fully functional before I disassembled it and prepped it for paint job. BIRDSELL PRODUCTS. Palo Alto. This one has three amp settings on the lift/lower handle, 1/16",3/32,1/8". This arc welder or stick welder is believed to be made from the 1920s in California Palo Alto manufactured by BIRDSELL.
