Antique Nutting Railroad Cart – For Sale This is an original Nutting factory cart from the early-to-mid 1900s, manufactured in Faribault, Minnesota by the Nutting Truck and Caster Company (1891–1984). These heavy-duty carts were sold to railroads, furniture makers, textile mills, and other factories to transport parts and materials. Nutting carts are famously sturdy — as I like to say, “child-proof and strong enough for multiple women to dance on!” — built from solid maple wood with cast iron wheels and hardware. Many are still in use today, over 100 years later. This particular cart is raw, unrestored, and in excellent condition with all original hardware intact. The Nutting factory stamp is still visible on both sides.
