My father's old WORKHORSE Surf Rod. She's 12'6". Moderate/Moderate Fast action. Heavy power. I was in middle school when he made this rod... In high school, I remember dragging her out to Ilwaco/Astoria for some INCREDIBLE bank rockfish, Ling, and even Surf Perch on the peninsula!! For a 12.5' rod this big, it's pretty light... so I'm assuming it's some kind of composite or graphite... but I'm not 100%. Large Surf style hook keep and glow in the dark guide inserts. She also has thread wrapped guides and wrapped handles too. I think this rod could use a little cosmetic TLC to give her some new life if anyone had the equipment and was looking to resell... OR if you were looking for a true Powerhouse of a rod... then here's your baby! I mean it, she's an incredible rod, and I know you'll feel the same way!!
