Trade Guru’s was such a great experience buying my used car! I had looked everywhere, drove to Tampa, Sarasota, Bradenton and Naples. I kept walking away from deals because of a bad feeling, like sales people were hiding something- rebuilt titles, no car fax not willing to do anything for the fees they charged. I even checked out private sale and it was just as bad until Car Gurus came up in a search and realized it was right in my neighborhood, Venice Fl! I went to see the car and test drove it, asked all my questions, did my research and went home to think about it, then went back to test drive again. I felt that this place was different and couldn’t believe it was so close. They provided a car fax, took time to go through everything about the car. They were understanding about what I needed to feel confident with this purchase and I knew this was a place I could trust. They were more than transparent, kind and trustworthy. When I picked up my car it looked amazing. I am extremely pleased and know I have a great car! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. I don’t often give a bad review, but this time i see myself obligated to do it!
My wife and i went to the store, the salesman Colton was amazing and friendly, so my wife submitted an application online 10 days ago.

So the issue is with FINANCING MANAGEMENT, Yes 10 days ago, they pulled the credit next day after applying,  so as credit was good they called for bank statements, which was much more than needed, and stay 10 days with no follow up, not even answering our phone calls.
Today, 10 days later we reached finance manager and said they did not proceed because income come from gig working, BUT the car we applied for was for personal use!!!
I understand the finance guys they wasn’t willing to sell this car, but what i cannot accept is the disrespect of disappearing 10 days, in which we could’ve find another car. Unacceptable service, didn’t move a finger to try to sell!

(plus there were contradictions on two phone calls, first time they said they will apply with the only bank they work with, and today they said the multiple banks they work with they would not accept gig working income, that is contradictory and also impossible, 5-6k monthly gig income is accepted anywhere any dealer, without adding my 6k gig!
Plus why they requested bank statements if they didn’t even proceed to apply??? Unacceptable

I purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester and was pleased with my salesman. When he went to deliver my car he said the traction control light came on so he turned around and took it to service.  He delivered my car a few days later and said it had been fixed. I drove the car for 40 miles and traction control light came on and also check engine light. The cruise light also came on. I took it to a mechanic who did a diagnostic on it and the result was a faulty PCM. When I contacted my salesman he referred me to the service manager. He was a rude individual who kept saying your car your problem. He offered to give me the part at cost but full price labor. Now why would I have their mechanic fix it when he didn’t fix the traction control. I bought this car to get me to my new house a couple hours away and now I have to have a transport company haul it up there and pay to have me driven there. This is a company to avoid at all costs. Poorly run and not reputable. Not to mention atrocious behavior by Daniel the service manager.

My friends referred me to TradeGuru. That was the best gift ever! I bought a nice car and it is comfortable and drives like a dream. I am very impressed by the customer service, friendliness and courtesy of Josh, his family, and his entire staff. For many years, I was afraid to trust used car dealers. Being a female and widowed, they saw me coming! But I trust everyone at TradeGuru! Thank you Josh, Barry, Larry, Brandon, Daniel, Frank and Fabio (who is not yet pictured on their site). You are the best!

Staff were super nice! They got my in my new car and out quickly! Brandon explained everything that was done or needed to be done and gave me an estimate and everything! Would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go to the trade guru
