Opens and closes just fine. We loved it in our kitchen to store extra kitchen things and had fruit displayed on top. Very cute but now we need the space for my daughters little kitchen. I was going to refurbish it but didn’t end up having time! It still fit right in for the 4 years we had it. Vintage vibe. Make me an offer!
