Description

This is a very old two piece vase hand carved with scenes on both sides it is a two-piece with rings on both sides which are carved at the same time the entire vase is carved out of one stone the rings are not added later or glued on it's an ancient talent of Asian carvers this piece is made of a stone called calcite which is a white quartz it is then given a darker earthone patina at which time it it becomes what is known in certain Chinese provinces as burial Jade and is interred with the deceased as a parting gift it is 11 in tall 5 and 1/2 in wide and weighs almost 7 lb We are selling it for $150 to see 70 more sculptures please click on my five stars and scroll down We are also interested in trading for a car a truck a van silver dollars or bronze sculptures
