Inspired by MGMs award winning motion picture Gone With The Wind. Painted by Raymond Kursar. Manufactured by Edwin M. Knowles. Released by the Bradford Exchange. Pictured is Scarlett O’Hara in the gardens of her beloved Twelve Oaks, which is the plantation home of the Wilkes family in Clayton County, Georgia - named for the twelve great oak trees that surround the family mansion in an almost perfect circle. The 1st issue in the Gone With the Wind Collection, the only plate series commemorating the immortal film ever to be issued under the aegis of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Plate is numbered and part of original limited edition. Includes certificate of authenticity and original booklets as well as original box. Plates is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other noticeable damage. Box shows signs of discoloration and wear due to age.
