Description

I need to get rid of this printer asap. DOES NOT WORK Disclaimer I have owned this printer since the day it was released a couple years back. I have loved printing massive projects and tinkering with this printer too. Some upgrades that I have done is replacing the power fan with a Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan. Another upgrade is the main motherboard cooling fan was also replaced with Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM, High Performance Cooling Fan which works very well. I have made and downloaded a few custom print heads for part cooling with great success. But unfortunately on one of those occasions when reconnecting the part cooling fan I failed to realize I had accidentally soldered the opposite polarity leading into a buck converter for voltage step down module, this was because the aftermarket male connectors that connect to the circuit board had the wires colored code the other way around. This lead to blowing the capacitor on the buck converter and subsequently frying the circuit board on the print head. I contacted Anycubic and they were kind enough to send me a replacement part for about $30. Once replaced, everything worked again. Fast forward 2 years later I decided I wanted to redo the print head part cooling, and you can guess what happened……..I had completely forgotten about opposite colored wires and toasted the circuit board again. At this point I am done with 3D Printing, I had stepped way for about 1.5 years to focus on the career and I no longer have the time nor passion to keep up with this hobby. Please take this off my hands.
