Ventura . Dreadnought size. It was built in 1971 at the Matsumoku plant in Japan that was at the time also building Yamaha, Epiphone, and Washburn, and others. Real Brazilian rosewood, with spruce top .Beautiful abalone bindings, mother of pearl, and real turtle ( tortoise)shell pickgard . At 50 -plus years old it is in better than good shape, more like exceptional ! Perfect neck, no bows no cracks all attest to the quality Matsumoku was putting into their instruments at the time.
