Vintage from the 1920s Gorgeous crystal perfume bottle with silverplate lid by Waterford (prestigious Irish glassworks). The cylindrical body of the bottle has a detailed design of hand-cut fan-shaped facets around the top section, followed by cross-hatched diamond facets around the middle and closely-spaced straight line facets around the lower section. There is also a sunburst design carved into the bottom. The silverplated cap has a simple mushroom shape with smooth surface. This piece is of the high quality and superior workmanship of the Waterford brand. Really beautiful. See pictures. The bottle is in Very Good condition- there is some clouding on interior due to perfume use with no chips, no cracks. The cap has the light dulled matte surface common on old silverplate items. The cap is also marked “Waterford” along with SILVER PLATED and has a Crystal ground stopper to secure your precious perfume and to apply to your skin. See pictures. The bottle measures approximately 4.75 inches (12 cm) tall with the cap on and the crystal is thick and heavy.
