washburn bantam bb5 dbl electric 5-string bass guitar 2006 has some wear and tear (scratches, wear on the paint job, see the pictures) look up “small talk with big dyl - washburn bb-6 bass” to get the feel of the sound. (he plays it at about 4:36, running it through a couple pedals, some distortion) “vendo bajo washburn bb-5” for a more neutral demonstration i’ve had some minor issues with fret buzz (it can be mitigated depending on the way you play it for sure, it might also be an issue with my finger strength). it’s pretty low action. really great tuners on this thing. i don’t have much experience on bass but the tone is beautiful, on the dark and creamy side to my ears. i bet with a little tlc it’d sound even better. it could definitely use some cleaning and i haven’t taken it to a shop or luthier to get it adjusted or anything in the couple years ive had it. i can’t verify the materials with 100% certainty, but i think it should have active egnater soapbar pickups and have a basswood body based on info in old washburn catalogues. also a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. seems accurate based on appearance. comes with the original hardshell case. pretty difficult to find this model anymore. really sad to get rid of it but i have small hands and not the discipline to learn full scale. here’s hoping it’ll go to someone who can really appreciate it and get some use out of it instead of it just sitting in the corner of my apartment lol.
