Description

This machine is known as one of the best that Singer ever made, if you know, you know. The 401A "Slant-O-Matic" is a robust and gorgeous machine with original parts, and the lacquer is in great condition. It's clean and all mechanisms seem to move, both manually and when plugged in and putting power to it. It needs a tune-up and lubrication as parts are moving a little sluggishly as it's sat for years. Spool pins are intact and not broken off like many. This one was made in Anderson, SC in 1956, based upon the serial number. These were end of an era, built like absolute tanks out of all metal parts. This will last another 100 years, easily. Includes the original table with folding legs, original power cord, and foot pedal switch.
