This is a hand knotted Chinese rug in ivory. The foundation of this rug is cotton (so it is natural and plant based) and the pile is lambswool (animal-based organic texture). This is a beautiful artwork from the 1960's. It takes many months to make a rug like this by a weaver on the loom. The size is 3' x 5' 9" (including fringes\tassels). It has carved classic Chinese designs. This rug was professionally hand washed, sanitized, and deodorized. It was appraised for $900. Good condition - this rug was professionally hand washed, sanitize, and deodorized.
