Spear is a German company who had a large production push of mid-level quality guitars through the 2010’s (2012-2018). They still make guitars and seem to shoot for exotic looks moreso now than models like this from in the mid 2010s. The Rd-150 attempts to simulate the Gibson Les Paul style. It’s a great first guitar, but more likely a second guitar, given it’s price/quality. It features: - “Set-in” neck style - Mahogany body - Maple veneer with Tobacco Sunburst flame finish - 22-fret rosewood fretboard with faux abalone inlays - Two humbucker pickups - Floating bridge - Pickup switch and four tone/volume pots The construction is quality. Tuning heads are solid. Indonesia is definitely a step up from Chinese or Korean manufacturing, as most companies 2nd tier guitars are more made there. Most Spear guitars have a “Brand new” value of about $600. These models, in good condition, usually sell for about $300-350. Asking $250
