You will get fresh cuttings from my potted plant. They will be allowed to harden and heal on the cut . The cut is allowed to scale over for 24 hours and then the ends are wrapped in a damp napkin and we packed for shipping. Or if you want to save money and your local, you can pick these up in Woodbridge Virginia.. all cuttings are 8 inches or longer. Cuttings are dipped and rooting hormone immediately so that the roots will push out quickly when you get your plants in a pot. These cactus can produce fruit if they get pollinated. The fruits of the German empress cactus (Disocactus phyllanthoides) are ellipsoid-shaped, green at first, and later turn red. The seeds are dark brown.
