This vintage metal lunch box, produced by Aladdin Industries Incorporated in Nashville, Tennessee, has colorful graphics on all sides that recall the hit television show, Adam-12 - starring Martin Milner and Kent McCord. The show ran from 1968 to 1975 with 7 seasons and 174 episodes. The lunch box measures approximately 8 3/4” x 7” x 4”. The graphics on the front and reversible side are embossed. Graphics on the sides and underside are smooth. Original tag is attached by cord to the plastic handle. Contains the original thermos with multicolor surrounding graphics. Like the box, the thermos has never been used and has a tight seal cap/cover with inner gasket. The thermos has the original paperwork and the top manufacturer’s label in gold and black is intact. Also includes a vintage Adam-12 tee shirt. The tee shirt features a picture of the two actors on the front and reads, “when you’re in trouble…call Adam-12.” There is an error with the date below the picture in that it reads “MCMXXIII Adam-12 Productions” - indicating 1923. Inadvertently, the Roman Numeral “L” was omitted and should have indicated 1973. The thermos and tee shirt are in excellent condition. The thermos even has the original protective wrapping. The tee shirt is not faded, has never been worn or washed. Size Large. Label reads “ 100% Cotton USA Great American Factory.” The metal lunch box has some scratching on the top (please see photograph.) Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
