Schwinn approved Rear Metal Bike Rack Carrier & Foldable Baskets Vintage

Excellent Condition. Very clean late 60s early 70s bike rack. This is a Schwinn Approved rear carrier with two folding baskets.  The Schwinn Approved Logo is on the rat trap carrier. There is a spring loaded top on the carrier for clamping things down. This is original equipment taken from a 1970s Schwinn Suburban. You can see these as accessories in the Schwinn Catalogs of the 1970s. The Suburban has 27" wheels. It will fit a Schwinn lightweight with 26" wheels as well. It will fit mens or womens frames.  The legs are mounted to the frame, not the rear axle. The front is mounted to the seat binder bolt. There is no rust on the baskets.
