Up for sale is one of favorite strats. I need to sell several guitars ASAP. My loss will be your gain. If already know about the golden age of Japanese guitar building in the ‘80s at the now legendary FujiGen factory, you know that their craftsmanship and quality clearly exceeded US models of the era by a long shot, and this is no exception. 1987 MIJ cream ST ‘62 model strat. A great example of 80’s Japanese craftsmanship. Basswood body. Awesome guitar with tons of killer upgrades. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Fender bridge with graph tech saddles ($80), Fender custom shop Texas Special loaded pick guard ($180), Gotoh locking tuners ($75). Neck is 7.25 inch radius with nice dark rosewood fingerboard. BRAND NEW FRETS Expertly done by Fred at the Repair Zone earlier this year ($400). Super comfortable quartersawn C shape. Fretted with popular Jumbo fret wire 6105 common on Custom Shop stats. Fender Custon shop Texas Special Pickups are hotter than vintage, great for that Texas Blues hot sound, but tame down nicely with the volume knob. Will also include the original pickups that came with the guitar, as well as original tuners and bridge. Cream color body has aged beautifully. There are a couple of battle scars from previous owner (see pic of lower horn), but adds only flavor to the guitar’s overall super cool vibe. Aged mint pickups covers and knobs compliments the aged white pick guard. Comes with non original Freedom brand molded plastic case. $900 This guitar is for players, and have been set up best tone and playability, and a not collectors grade, closet queen.
