Description

Sears men’s 26” wheel road/street bike with front and back hand brakes and front and back fenders. Both wheel rims are straight however, both tires on the men’s bike need to be replaced to be safe to ride! It has a 3-gear handlebar shifter. It is the original, it has rust too but still works. All cables are original and still work but do show their age. Bike does have some patina or what could be considered rust. Seat is in okay condition considering it’s age with some holes on the sides and the back has a small rip or tear but the seat is the original and still looks and works well. Handlebars and wheel rims are green with “patina”! Patina sounds better than dirt and/or rust! Bike still works even though it’s 50 years old. It might need some new tires to be safe to ride but after 50 years the rubber just dries out and deteriorates over time! Bike is sold “as is” due to its age and condition. NOTE: I have a matching woman’s 3-speed road/street bike. Women’s bike has decent tires, men’s bike needs replacement tires to work and ride safely! Current tires on the men’s bike do hold air but the sidewall rubber has been compromised on both the front and back tires on the men’s bike. Both bikes are being sold “as is” due to their age and condition.
