This beautiful and romantic art nouveau inspired locket opens to reveal treasured pictures, reminiscent of a sweet and innocent era. There are no markings anywhere so maker and material is unknown, but feels like brass. The chain is not original and used for visual presentation only. The original was on a ribbon necklace that became too frail to hold the weight of the locket. Elaborate front design. The back seems to have initials, which I believe are S & H, but that's up for interpretation. Please see pictures. There's some tarnish consistent with age.
