Description

Accepting offers! Charming vintage 1940s-50s white wicker baby bassinette / crib. This sweet piece has been in our family for over 40 years, used for real babies and then dolls. Decorated with a light blue ribbon woven throughout, and has its original mattress and wicker stand with casters. Stands 4' feet tall, and approximately 40" inches in length. Comes apart in two sections, the basket and the stand. The basket has a mattress and bottom so can be used apart from the stand if desired. Great for displaying dolls or for photography. A bassinette just like this was used in the 1956 Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher movie "Bundle of Joy".
