Wireless Standards: It supports 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g wireless standards. Dual-Band Concurrent: The AP-80M operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands simultaneously. External Antenna Support: It features dual N-type female interfaces for connecting external antennas. These antennas are used for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Interfaces: The AP-80M has one 10/100Base-T Ethernet port with an 8-pin male M12 circular din connector. Power: It is powered via a power injector that provides 48 V DC up to 1.2 A, resulting in 30 Watt peak Power over Ethernet (PoE). The power injector accepts an input of 100-240V AC / 1.5A. Note that it's important to use the correct power injector module and not directly connect it to a network switch providing standard IEEE 802.3af PoE due to the AP's power requirements. Mounting: Standard mounting includes an articulating adjustable pole or mast mount kit. An optional wall mount kit is also available. Operating Modes: It supports various operating modes including multi-service WLAN, air monitoring/wireless intrusion detection and prevention, hybrid combinations, and remote AP. Radios: The AP-80M has dual radios, which are software configurable for either 802.11a or 802.11b/g. Mobility Service Delivery: It supports up to 16 SSIDs via the access point and multiple captive portals per SSID. It also supports session-level QoS and VLAN load balancing. Voice Services: Features like Wireless Multi-Media QoS (WMM), 802.1P and DSCP to WMM AC tagging, and upstream traffic prioritization are available.
