2001 Aliner Truck Cabin

This is probably the first and possibly the last time you will ever find another truck bed camper like this come for sale. This is a 2001 Aliner Truck Cabin. From same makers who make the Aliner travel trailers. Columbia Northwest/Aliner - “Truck Cabin” You have seen those unique pop up trailers, hard sided and a-frame in shape. These style pop-up trailers have become increasingly more popular in recent years. Well imagine having one of those trailers that slide into your truck bed. That is the “Truck Cabin”. History of the “Truck Cabin” There is very little information on the internet regarding the company known as Columbia Northwest. If you do a google search for that company there are several links that direct you to {url removed} which we have to assume the company was either purchased by new owners or they decided to fully embrace the “Aliner” name. Based on the documentation that I have in my possession, there was another doing-business-as name, “Cabin A LLC”. We can only comment on to what we have found through various searches on the internet regarding years of production. This “Truck Cabin” is a 2001 model as indicated on the manufacture stickers and we have seen models dated as late as 2006. At one point, the “Truck Cabin” received an updated image along with the “Freedom” designation for its larger model. Construction If you have ever toured an Aliner “A-Frame” trailer, you will find many similarities to the “Truck Cabin”. The truck cabin consists of the base living box, and four folding walls. The walls and the panels are constructed of aluminum over foam board, over luanne panels. One difference between the Aliner Trailers and the “Truck Cabin” is that all the windows on the “Truck Cabin” are all plexi-glass material, where-as the side panel windows in the trailer are glass. The interior cabinetry is standard, mdf board & laminate materials. In essence this camper should fit just about any truck. We have installed it on our 2015 Toyota Tundra with a custom, built platform.
