Hello and thanks for looking! We have made mics for major film studios along with many top tier music producers and artists...now it's your turn to own one! If you're looking for a vintage mic with a clasic and elegant look...you've found it!. 30s or 40s era. This is now a fully functional ribbon microphone that features a handsome desk stand. This mic is NOT in perfect shape due to the age of some parts used to assemble it...it has patina/character to it so do NOT expect perfection! EXPECT scratches and marring that may not be photographed! We could have painted it all, but the story this mic tells if far too cool to cover up! Sound-wise, the mic is clear and fully useable, linear, full, warm ribbon tone. And as per all ribbons, needs a decent amount of preamp gain to work and should NEVER be phantom powered! It now has a wired cable terminated with a modern 3 pin male XLR plug fit for today's use reliably. It WAS a carbon mic but was long dead...so we fixed that issue and it's ready to go!
