1988 XR600R - California Plate / Street Legal / With Upgrades Rebuilt Engine: Top & Bottom, replaced all bearings, seals & gaskets. Bored from 97mm/9:1 compression ratio to 100mm/8.7:1 compression ratio (original 591cc modified to 628cc/lower compression ratio runs a little cooler). Nearly new CDI box, Ignition Coil, Stator & Clutch. Carburetor rebuilt with new pilot & main jets and added stainless steel choke plate. Oil temp dip stick gauge. Nearly new front and rear brakes (Approx. 200 miles on all engine replacement parts & upgrades). Kick start only with Decompression Lever (not an electric start). No odometer (factory dirt bike off road). Rechargeable Battery-operated LED Turn Signals, Taillight, Brake Light & Horn. Good Tires & Chain. Fresh Oil & Filter. Fresh Air Filter. Custom fit Billet folding buddy pegs for passenger. 4 Gallon Baja tank. New rear fender & Front Plate/Headlight. Fender bag with tools, spare spark plugs, and plug case. Registration Was Valid through January 2024, but now No/Op status. Extra Set of Front & Rear Rims & Innertubes. Extra Set of Front Brake Pads. 4 Oil Filters. Service Manual. Misc. Parts & Tools. Size 12 AXO Boots (worn twice). Size XL AXO Jersey & Size 38 AXO Pants. Fox Helmet (barely used) & Bilt Helmet (used). Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier. The bike has been stored in the garage since I bought it in 2013. This was the Baja 1000 king for years. I love it, but I just don't ride it anymore. Someone else needs to enjoy it. Put gas in it, and it'll start up on the first few kicks and will be ready to go anywhere (street, hills, mountains, desert). It never left me stranded. Fast with tons of torque. This is a “Big Boy” bike, and you must be able to start it in front of me before I sell it to you. Issues: Headlight not operating (currently powered off of stator) but could be upgraded to LED and powered off of rechargeable system. Otherwise, everything else works great. She’s ready for desert season! I hate to see her go, but $2200 takes it all.
