Mid Century Delphos Bentwood Teetertot Shoofly Toddler Rocker, Wooden Bouncer Seat, Child's Rocking Seat with Bead Bar

This is a Teetertot Shoofly toddler rocker and bouncer seat from the Delphos Bending Co. of Delphos, OH. The company started making children's furniture in 1934 and they made Teetertots from 1945 until 1979. We know this particular model was sold as far back as 1954. As you can see, this is both a rocker and a bouncer seat. Made of "hardwood with a floating spring suspension", according to the Delphos catalog. This has been cleaned and it's in very good condition, especially given that this is a child's item in the neighborhood of 60 years old. There is some wear, of course. Scuffs, marks on the wood, some unevenness to the finish, some rust on the eyelet screws. No broken or splintering wood. The springs are secure. The graphics on the backrest look great. This measures 33" from end to end, nearly 18" tall, with a seat width of 12". Be sure to look at all the photos; they are considered part of the description. Ask any questions.
