Roll Top desk ( Top) Oak 122 Year Old.the Real Deal.

A vintage roll top desk (top) totally functional in great shape. Oak veneered top half off a roll top unit,( bottom half was destroyed, was able to buy top before contractor got to finishing that part. Of his job.) anyone who has interest in these great old desks knows they are for the most part modular and come in two pieces, so this can sit on top of any wooden desk,( withstanding it is at least 48” wide and 29 “ deep.) Roll top is in fine working order, ( is secure in channel), there is know divers, dings or gashes in the piece. Wood is finished nicely and know cracks or breaks.The front wall and side panels all in excellent shape. It has all of its drawers , including two Little secret compartment drawers. I need to make room in studio,( and already have a roll as down at home, so priced to move. If you have a wooden desk and always wanted a roll top , easy-peasy, just pick it up and set it down and you have instantly traveled to the beginning of the last century.( oil lamps not included, though bi do have some period brass lamps to sell if you are going for effect.) Top is 20” high. Varnished white oak,( could be red oak, but think it is white) interior drawers could be varnished, but usually /originally they were not . Had serial number and company origin on bottom. Brass key set is clean, functioning, but don’t have the key.any questions just ask.
