Used Dean Playmate series Avalanche 3/4 junior electric guitar, black with a white pick guard, three single coil pickups. Basically their version of the Squier mini Stratocaster. It plays and sounds great, and would be in almost Mint Condition aside from a mark on the back and a spot in the front that had to be glued and drop filled where the paint was chipped after being banged into something. But what do you expect when you give a guitar to a child? Where the repair is done, it could definitely be fine sanded and polished up to the point where you probably couldn't even see it. Aside from that, the guitar still shines up nicely, and it has a nice straight neck with super low action. This would be an ideal first guitar for a child, because of the fact that it plays so well, and the components are the same as you would find in a full scale professional guitar, not one of the typical department store beginner guitars that is made up of subpar components and feels like a toy. This is a real guitar, just scaled down, and the fact that it's set up well definitely will make for a more enjoyable experience than some cheap fiberboard acoustic with inch high action or a poorly made electric guitar ready to fall apart if you look at it the wrong way. Selling because my stepson is switching to bass, and he's wanting to use the funds to help buy a short scale bass he has his eye on. Any questions, please ask.
