Ibanez Art 300 Caiman textured electric guitar with active pickups This is a beautiful Brown Caiman model, the Art 300, from Ibanez. It’s in great shape – the electronics are perfect and original, and it sounds fantastic. These awesome guitars look like caiman / alligator / crocodile skin, in color and texture and feel super fun to play. Really solid set-neck with high end feel and sound. Unusual guitar that you rarely find for sale in stores or marketplace today. Specs: • Single cut style with 2 active Ibanez branded humbuckers that sound great. • Mahogany body with black binding • Mahogany neck w binding • Set-neck design, rosewood fretboard with 22 medium frets • 24.75” scale with nut width of 43 mm • a tummycut in the backside, for added comfort • Beautiful diamond shaped pearl inlays with a custom inlay design at the 12th fret • Neck pickup and Bridge Pickup volume controls and a Master Tone control • 3 way toggle switch for pickup selections • Gibraltar III bridge with saddles with a smooth top surface, so no sharp surfaces to cut into your picking hand when performing palm-muting. Beautiful and comfortable. Cosmetic Condition: There are some light scratches on the back and neck that actually look worse in the photos than in real life. There is a small dot chip out of the finish that you barely notice with the texture (see photos). Guitar works perfectly and has new AA batteries installed. I added some gator eye stickers to the volume pots which can be plucked off if you don’t like them, and I added a swamp decal to the truss rod cover and a little gator sticker on the back. All easily removable with no damage. EXTRAS: Listing is for the guitar only. I also bought a really nice swamp green velvet practically new guitar strap and a metal caiman pin. You are welcome to those for an extra $20, if you ask. Note that guitar fits great in my Gator Les Paul hard case, so any Les Paul style hard case or gig bag should fit it. Would consider trade for another interesting electric guitar. Would need to be fun color (no black, brown, red) or style.
