Description
Vintage Woodbury Pewterers Henry Ford museum edition 6" Pewter Dish Porringer Bowl with 2 decorative handles in VERY GOOD CONDITION! A porringer is from Early English and the definition is a low dish or cup, often with a handle, from which soup, porridge, or the like is eaten. Each piece of Woodbury Pewter is hand-crafted from the highest quality pewter using many of the same methods and tools that were used in the 18th & 19th centuries. Woodbury Pewter is safe for foods and beverages and with a minimum amount of care, may be passed on to generations. Pewter should be washed and dried as soon as is practical after use to avoid possible staining caused by certain foods and beverages. The diameter of the bowl is 6.5" and is 2-3/8" tall. The length, including the handles, is 11".
