Chinese Vintage 1950s Cloisonne Miniature Vase Floral Enamel, 1.75x5.25” A dainty cloisonné bud vase with floral enamel over copper—small, bright, and charming on a shelf. Great vintage condition overall. Defects & imperfections – please check pictures made under the bright light & magnification: • Light rubs to gilt at rim and foot • Small areas of oxidation/patina inside the neck • Minor enamel pits from firing Pictures are part of the description, please check them & let me know if you require additional ones. Fascinating Fun Facts: • Cloisonné is made by bending fine metal wires (cloisons), filling with colored glass enamel, and kiln-firing—polished between firings to a glossy surface. • Turquoise counter-enamel on the base is a classic tell of mid-century production.
