Dual CS 1264 Automatic Turntable, Near Mint, Fully Serviced, New Stylus NICE!

Here is an unbelievably clean fully automatic belt driven 2 speed turntable, the Dual CS 1264, built in Germany in 1980. It has the original low mass Ortofon Dual ULM 55E cartridge mounted and a recently installed new old stock stylus with very low hours, and it comes with a reprint of the owner's manual. The 1264 was the flagship of the belt drive models in Dual's wonderful ULM (ultra low mass) line-up, the only belt driven model that had the anti-resonance filter on the tonearm. The ULM Duals feature the wonderful low mass tone arm which (when combined with the low mass cartridge) provide incredibly compliant tracking on lps that have damaged grooves or warped vinyl. Full specifications are in the images. This Dual 1264 was owned since new by one owner and was remarkably well kept in closed door cabinetry, away from dust and sunlight. We have fully serviced this turntable. It has been cleaned and lubricated. It has a new belt and steurpimple (the tiny piece that allows metal parts to glide over one another without friction during automatic operations. The original corroded RCA plugs have been replaced with highly conductive gold audiophile plugs (see photo of the old and new, side by side). The turntable is in perfect, like new operating condition, and very near mint physical condition. You won't find a nicer example of this superb 40 year old precision German turntable.
